Frequently asked questions
Purchase & delivery
What happens after I place an order?
Pay with PayPal on our secure checkout pages. After payment is confirmed, your license code is shown on the success page and emailed to the address you entered at checkout—usually within a few minutes. Open the app, go to Help → License, paste the code, and activate.
I did not receive the license email
Check Spam/Junk and add support@rayexa.com to your whitelist. Confirm you used the same email as at checkout. You can also resend codes with Retrieve Registration Code (purchase email or PayPal order ID), or contact us with your order details.
Is this a subscription?
No. Paid Rayexa licenses are perpetual: pay once and keep using the licensed version on the licensed devices. The license does not expire, and there is no recurring subscription fee. Update and upgrade availability is stated separately when applicable.
Where do I download the installer?
Use the Download menu in the site header, or the Download button on each product page. Official Windows installers are provided for each product—prefer those links over third-party mirrors.
Activation & registration
How do I activate my license?
Install and launch the product → Help → License → paste the registration code from your email (no leading/trailing spaces) → Activate. After success, the License window shows Status Activated, Edition Full License, and a masked key.
The code is reported as invalid
Copy the code directly from the license email and paste it without extra spaces or line breaks. Make sure you are activating the matching product (for example, a Video Downloader code will not activate vjMixer). If it still fails, use Retrieve Registration Code or email us with your order ID and purchase email.
I lost my registration code
Open Retrieve Registration Code and submit the email used at checkout or your PayPal order ID. Matching codes are resent to the purchase email. They are never shown on the web page for security.
Can I use one license on more than one PC?
Each license allows activation on a limited number of devices (shown when you activate). If you replace a PC, deactivate or contact support@rayexa.com so we can help you move the license.
Trial & free editions
Is there a free trial?
Yes—no account signup required. Download from the site and try the features right away. Some products add a trial watermark on output until you activate a license (vjMixer, SWF to Video, Video Converter, Data Recovery). Video Downloader Free allows a limited number of downloads; RayTune Free includes core cleanup tools with Pro unlocking automation.
What platforms are supported?
All products on this site target Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit). An internet connection is required for license activation, live streaming (vjMixer), and some online features such as Browser Probe or driver checks.
Product differences
vjMixer vs. vjMixer Pro
vjMixer: up to 4 input channels, one network output, four overlay layers, and a maximum 1080p 16:9 program. vjMixer Pro: 1440p and 4K production, up to 4 network outputs, and up to 8 overlay layers. Conditional 8K HEVC output requires compatible hardware and delivery.
Video Downloader Free vs Pro
Free includes exact analyzed-quality selection, resumable tasks, Browser Probe, batch tools, playlists, and sync, limited to 3 downloads. Analyze and Probe do not consume quota. Pro unlocks unlimited downloads with the same toolkit.
RayTune Free vs Pro
Free: health score, junk clean, driver detection, power modes, manual Game Boost, software update list, and basic system tools (memory optimize limited; disk scan only). Pro: scheduled maintenance, driver repair/backup, software install/rollback, full disk optimize, auto Game Boost, and one-click startup optimize.
SWF to Video vs. Video Converter
SWF to Video focuses on converting Flash SWF into modern video, GIF, sequences, or audio. Video Converter is for everyday video formats such as FLV, AVI, MP4, M4V, WebM, MKV, MOV, and WMV, with preview, crop, watermark, and batch export. Use the dedicated SWF product for Flash files.
Licensing policies
Can I transfer a license to a replacement PC?
License activation is tied to a limited number of devices. When replacing a computer, contact Rayexa support with the product name, purchase email, and order ID so the activation can be reviewed.
Do you offer refunds?
Download and evaluate the product before purchasing. If you experience a technical or order problem, contact support with the product, order ID, and a description of the issue so eligibility can be reviewed under the applicable purchase terms.
Video and hardware
Does vjMixer support 4K or 8K production?
vjMixer Pro supports 1440p and 4K production in the current 16:9 workflow. Conditional 8K output requires HEVC and a capable hardware encoder and target. Ordinary RTMP/RTMPS delivery uses H.264 and should use a supported lower resolution. Practical frame rate depends on the complete system and workflow.
Does Rayexa use GPU acceleration?
vjMixer and Video Converter can use supported NVIDIA NVENC, Intel Quick Sync, or AMD AMF encoding when the hardware, driver, codec, and selected output allow it. Software encoding remains available for compatible H.264 workflows.
Does Video Downloader use my selected resolution?
Yes. After analysis, choosing a listed resolution creates an exact-quality request instead of silently substituting a lower result. Quick batch download uses Best Available and only falls back after the higher-quality attempt cannot be downloaded.
Can Video Downloader resume an interrupted task?
Yes. Pausing preserves the current progress and partial data. Supported HTTP, HLS, and extractor-based downloads continue from saved data when resumed. The Tasks page also shows the actual saved resolution.
How do I convert an SWF file?
Use SWF to Video for the focused workflow: add the SWF file, preview it, set the capture range and output format, then export to video, GIF, image frames, or audio. Read the tutorial.
Can Data Recovery restore every deleted file?
No recovery tool can guarantee every file. Results depend on overwrite activity, TRIM behavior, device condition, file-system damage, and how the data was lost. Stop writing to the source drive and recover files to a different device.
